Good evening, I have XP Professional. How do I eliminate 1 of 2 users and have all programs, files, etc for use by the remaining user. In other words when I log in, there is only one user (myself) and all programs, files, etc. of the former user can be accessed by me I hope this request is understood. Thanks for prompt response.

Programs are usually available globally (to all users on the system) as long as they were initially installed for all users. As for the data (documents, pictures, music, etc.) simply copy the files from one user account to the other. Using Windows Explorer (My Computer), navigate to C:\Windows\Documents and Settings\User A\My Documents and copy what you want to C:\Windows\Documents and Settings\User B\My Documents. Etc.
